Singular We by Bradley Smith

In my head, I use "we" almost always

I think I'm used to being part of a set.

Now it's me and this body

Instead of me and this brother.

With thanks to Cecil Griffin.

“I trashed it because I don't generally write, and when I do I show very few people, if any. This especially feels too short and maybe even nonsensical to anyone who might not feel the way I do about a sibling. The only reason it's being submitted is because the friend I thanked in the email recommended it, knowing that it would be thrown aside anyway.”

Bradley Smith (he/they) is an artist from Placerville, California, currently living in Florida. He enjoys making digital art and writing as a hobby. Twitter: https://twitter.com/bradfromHR
