I check if I am writing a poem,
or a diary entry,
both of them never see red,
they either don’t let me speak,
or overpower and throw words at me that I dodge,
and today I let the words hit me with full force,
because I didn't see the difference,
I find a blemished version of a poem in the corner of my mind,
I don't know if this writing becomes something for you in future,
but today it's a poem quenching it's thirst,
through my tears.
“I find this poem rubbish, it's entirely unnecessary to compare a diary entry to a poem so I chewed the paper. I didn't. This was lying somewhere in my notes, typical trash poetry.”
