I read john green when I was a thirteen

The characters were so flawed

Wow so cool

The girls were mean and smoked more than they dreamed

The boys were very weird the love was never pure

I think it damaged me

Oh, for sure

It made me think the girls weren’t meant to be nice or floral or happy in the color pink

It made me think i had to be fucked to be deserving of love

That only romance was the one you harmed
